Snow Advisory in effect until 8 am akdt Sunday... Heavy snow showers are now falling over Fairbanks but will taper off about midnight. After midnight the snow showers will continue off and on through the night. One half inch of snow has already fallen at uaf as of 1130 PM. By early Sunday up to one inch of snow is expected in town with up to 2 inches in the hills. The snow is partially melting on the warm ground and causing very slippery roadways and sidewalks.
