We have a wiener

I told you to keep your eye on Lance Mackey. He just won the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. It was Mackey's sixth Iditarod and his first win. His father won the race on his sixth Iditarod, his brother won the race on his sixth running.

Oh, did I mention that all three family members won the Iditarod wearing the number "13" on their sixth running?

Mackey also becomes the first musher to win both 1000+ mile sled dog races in the same year. The other race being the lesser known Yukon Quest, which is run between Fairbanks, Alaska and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. The Yukon Quest starts in Whitehorse and finishes in Fairbanks on odd numbered years, and starts in Fairbanks in even numbered years.

His winning time? 9 days, 5 hours, 8 minutes, 41 seconds.

The staff and management of &Games extends a hand of congratulations to the latest winner of "The Last Great Race."
