It's that time of year.

The oppressive summer temperatures of the mid 60s to mid 70s are finally a thing of the past. Moderate autumn temperatures are here for a while.

Boy, that was quick. I left the house not more than an hour ago. When I left, Koldie was busy snapping pictures. This is the time of year he looks forward to the most--maybe even more than the release of a hot new game!
You sound like a reverse-Arizonan for whom anything under 105 is considered "pleasant".

When I lived there I knew a native that would leave a can of soup on his dashboard every morning. When he went back to his car at lunch time it was piping hot and ready to eat. He would sit there, in his car, in 100 degree weather eating soup.

Enjoy the winter koldfoot...
I don't know about soup, but one of my favorite lunches is to leave a bowl of milk on the dashboard of my car and go back to the car at lunchtime for a bowl of ice cream.
